There is a Renaissance happening for those wise enough to recognize and participate in it.
Renaistre means rebirth in French. A new beginning, symbolized by the number 8. Thomas Aquinas called it “the ability to order things rightly”. The French called it ‘the revival of classical learning and wisdom’.
Classical education begins with wonder and ends with wisdom, and is concerned with knowledge of the highest things, such as God and divinity. Classical education aims to cultivate virtue, knowledge of the world and of human nature, active citizenship, and practical action. Classical education teaches to distinguish between higher and lower things, ends and means, what is important and less important.
These musings lead to a special friendship that is only available to those who share together in some noble enterprise!
